First day: DONE! [5th of October 2015]

Image
So there goes the first day at my new job, finished! It's the third job I've ever had.. well second one if we are counting in long term works. The first one was a two week temporary position or what you call it :) It's fun! It's a restaurant/café/bar type of place so remembering the prices for everything, and where it's located on the cashier screen will take a while, but soon enough! The hardest thing is actually the cashier... it's a bit more complicated than the ones I'm used to(apparently more than most people have) but that one should also click in a couple of days :) To serve the beverages correctly and gosh pouring up beer looks much easier than it freaking is, man! It just becomes a sea of foam every time I try even when the shift leader has tried to teach me how to do it! I really hope this work goes well, that I get to work a lot and learn much from them!

Halleluhjah! [1st of October 2015]

Image
After various days of annoying jokes from mum, excruciating tiredness, unstoppable hunger and a shit ton of more PMS syndromes my period has FINALLY come!!! It was almost 2 weeks late this month and I have no idea why... probably stress, right? It was so annoying because I was literally throwing away so much money on using panty liners in vain just to make suuure... . (TMI???) I've been worrying about it since the second week of September which was when I was going to Finland for the concert... :(  worrying about leakage is just tthe worst.... Now I'm at least very dedicated to use this tracker app now, so I can get a grip of this thing from now on!

On my way to ARN [23rd of September 2015]

Image
Now I'm sitting on the commuter train to Arlanda so I can go by there and finish the last bits and bobs for my new job! I'm starting on the fifth and am so excited! I'm a bit unsure of where I'm supposed to go oncce I get to the airport but I'll find it sooner or later! I took the commuter today since I took the bus last time and thought it could be good to have an idea of how it works and where it leaves me before ACTUALLY starting so I know which works best and is best in a pinch etc :) PS. It's the commuter train unless there is snow delays! you'll get to the station at Sky city within 15-20 minutes from Uppsala C! and I mean up in the actual Sky city, my friend! [boohyaaah,  there we go post september updating, DONE!]

[ 21st of august 2015(written 21st of Sep 2015 but ssh)] Sthlm Grönan och The Swedish Crew Unite~

Image
So like I've posted be fore me and Emma went to the capital on the 21st of August on a tiny one-day excursion. And we seem to have created a llittle tradion of going to the amusment park Grönalund once a year! I just remember I was so excited to walk the new horror house of Nighmares, even though I was completely pettrified of those things 2-3 years ago!! It did dissapoint me a bit because I didn't find it all that scary to be honest, some of the interactive things were really fun! But I just wish there had been more of it or small scares in the house I was mostly just us walking through a dark house, that was so pitch black I couldn't even make out the scary stuff :/ This was also the first time the Swedish Crew met up and had a fun time all of us :) If you're interested of getting a hint of what the day was you can pop in and watch this youtube clip I put together :)

Bobbi Brown soothing cleansing oil[7th of September 2015]

Image
Sooo I've finally used up all of my Boobi Brown Cleansing oil! This was definintely a splurging product but it actually did it's worth. A little pump really did get rid off all of the make up, or atleast broke it down to the core so that you could just wipe of some minimal residue after it :) I'll have to find an equally good cleanser ASAP becuase it really shows a difference on the skin...maybe just a slightly cheaper alternative this time ~ I'm however gonna give my opinion on it in this post, so keep on reading (or looking if you're interested :)) First of all it's an oil based make up remover made of kukui nut oil, sunflower oil and jasmine oil. Since it's an oil cleanser it breakdowns and removes make up very very gently without you needing to but too much pressure on the skin. This is  kind of what using it looked like :) Done eyes needed about (a little less) than one pump of the oil that you'd  ''rub'' on to the eyes le

Late breakfast [4th of September 2015]

Image
Or yeah late or late it depends on when you usually wake up~ I was planning on waking up early and do some morning yoga but since this was my ONLY free day I couldn't get my mind around to get up of bed at 5:30 a:m... I'll go and do a simple gym pass at 12 am instead! I ate a good breakfast about half an hour ago so I'm not getting a tummy ache or hungry while working out(because both those feelings suck!).

Hoooooooooooooooooooooneeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!![2nd of September 2015]

Image
One of my best friends Adina went on a family holiday to Greek last month and she brought me the cutest jar of local, organic honey  back home as a souvinier(and birthday gift). It even came with one of those pretty honey ''wands'' made of Greek olive wood, this one also a mini version. The whole package is so cute but I'm one of those troubled souls that don't want to open and destroy a thing especially when it looks so cute! ...sooo.... It will probably have to settle for being a desk decoration for now~

Yoghurt bowl[1st of September 2015]

Image
I'm weak okay! Y outubers and instagrammers food choices are infectious! But on the good side... they do tend to be very healthy~ Yoghurt bowls with various toppings seem to be going around quite a lot recently. But that just makes me happy! They are both delicious and healthy and can be modified to your liking! My personal favourite is Greek or Turkish yoghurt with raspberries, nuts and some dark chocolate!

French snacks [30th August 2015]

Image
[This one and I'm done with post updating all the August posts from my blog! xD] Naah not really? I don't even know if these are supposed  to have come from France or whatever? In Swedish we call french toast ''Fattiga Riddare(poor knights)'' so I don't know my title just sounded slightly more witty in Swedish... sorry I suck at titles... Anyhow the sweet tooth can be hard to fight and sometimes you just have to surrender to it... Right now it's one of my favourite snacks, but to be completely honest I hadn't even tried them up until last year... I was browsing youtube on one of my biggest watching loves, cooking videos and somehow ended up on a Nigella Lawson playlist *bliss*! And well that was the fall of Nat to the French.... It's veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery quick, super good and filling. You just need some bread and as all foodies say it's a great chance to get rid of stale bread whip up an egg with some milk (0,5dl) and then add y

Pita Pata [26rd of August 2015]

Aaaah~ I fell asleep so easily yesterday because the weather was so comforting while I was tucking in. It's been scorching hot during august and no hate to that I love most weathers how ever the refreshing feeling in the air after and during a good down pour is just wonderful! Plus the sound of the rain makes against the window is the perfect lullaby!

Saturday in Stockholm[ 24th of August 2015]

Image
[this will be a uuugh to re-write in English....] Yesterday me and one of my bestfriends had a little oneday-trip to Stockholm. A lot was pressed in to a short timline but we got through with most of what we wanted! Shopping, ice cream, amusment parks and dinner with a couple of new friends!(for me) Me and Emma started the day quite early. We woke up at 7am, ate some breakfast and took the 9am commuter train to Stockholm. We arrived at 10 am and I met Chucky for the first time. She came by to drop some CDs of for Emma before we left for the amusment park. The weather was so nice! warm and sunny but with some refreshing breezes~ At least in the morning further into the afternoon it was getting a bit warmer! Once we got to Stockholm we had about an hour to kill before the amusment park Grönalund opened and decided to find a oui merci shirt for Emma aswell because she fancied mine, and then take the ferry From slussen to Djurgården. We still had some time so we wen

Arirang radio~ [18th of August 2015]

Okay so I like kpop and have no problem with standing up for that! ( just kidding it' nothing to be ashamed of). I don't always do this because I don't always feel like waking up at 9am just to listen to a radio show.... BUT! on the days I do and have enough time to chill through it I'll tune in to Super Kpop on Arirang radio. It's a nice morning show (for us here in Sweden), the best thing with it is that even if Arirang is a Korean broadcaster its shows both TV and radio are in English! That's great for the big masses! Super Kpop is a show that explores lots of diffrent genres from the Kpop spectrum so you get a better understanding of Korean music. I doesn't confine itself to mainstream kpop but also showcases indie, rock and non-idol music that you wouldn't necessarilly hear of otherwise. You just have to pop in to http://arirang.co.kr/  press on the on air button around 9-11 am and you're set :) You get to start the day with superkpop with m

Oui Merci~ [13th august 2015]

Yes, yes I indeed went out and got myself a piece from my latest polyvore set! This T-shirt is sooooooo soft and falls so nicely that I almost feel like buying the white one too! Maybe in a large then because looser shirts are just more comfortable!

An outfit I NEED [13th August 2015]

Image
Not fancy at all but it looks sooo comfy! Most of it seems to be H&M but it looks good, looks good indeed! Someting I'd wear on a run or when I could just chill, whenever I need to be comfortable!

Birthday Dinner! [8th of August 2015]

Image
I finally got to meet one of my best friends, she's been around me for a good 14 years and even though we only meet up or even talk now and then it never feels weird, it's just as if we'd seen each-other yesterday. This is the first time we hang out since I've turned 20 and probably the first time in a couple months(whoops~). We usualyy choose calmer more quiet locations to hang out so we can talk peacefully and all but today she took me to a café near the Fyris river that apparently has the best cheesecakes in town... I'm not that into cheesecakes but I've got to admit that these were good! We had planned to go for both savoury and sweet but  after her broccoli and my Västerbotten cheese pie we couldn't fit another bite.... Well just have to go for the sweets next time! :)

Linné Burgers! [7th August 2015]

Image
On Tuesday mum and me had a classic mother-daugther evening date, we had dinner at the new hamburger restaurant by the Linné enterprise. Thaanks for alllll the hamburger joints that are opening up! Hamburgers for the people! The place is has a very cozy, quite vintage type atmosphere. My  phone had VERY little memory and I was only able to photograph the food, but next time I'll get a snap of the inside too :) The service was great, waiting time okay, I mean if you want fresh food you'll have to wait that's how it works! I really like hamburgers but mum isn't really crazy about them but still devoured hers! So that should be praise enough for them! But the best thing was still the fries! I'm an advocate for standard, just salted fries, but since I got to choose the dinner place, mum got to choose the fries, and she took BCOs. Bacon, chees and onion fries...oh my! were they good! crispy bacon, melted cheddar and glazed onions! oooh they were delicious! If you

20!!!![4/8-2015]

[wow I'm still about 4 months behind at updating this english version of my blog... But now I'm sick, well everyone is sick(but everyone else is sleeping) so I'll just use this time to get all the late material up here! :)] Well then, my teenage years have officially passed! I guess my first 20 years have been over all WONDERFUL! I have nothing big I should be unhappy about. They have been my years and no one else's. I'm now on the second level, as my cousin so artistically expressed it~ And it will bring new adventures, memories and experiences!                                  (wiping a tear for my teenage years, haha no I'm just kidding!)                                   I'm a weird person that doesn't like cake so mom made me a pie!
