Long awaited Italian feast
(this was actually Friday 12/12 - 2014 not on the Sunday)
Finally after months of suggesting it me and mum finally decided to actually do the deed and eat at the best Italian restaurant in town. We have only eaten there once before and that was almost 3-4 years ago?! We just remembered that the food was sooooo good!!!
We had made plans to dine with mum's god child, but we ended up being dumped right before the dinner :/ That didn't bother us to much since it was easily transformed into a cozy mother/daughter dinner instead :D
So to the important stuff here, THE FOOD!
We did not remember it wrong, the food at Basilico is divine!
We were a bit economical (to say it in a nice way) about ordering! I ordered a salmon pasta and mum took a sea food risotto. We ate half of each and then switched plates to both taste both dishes xD
Personally I thought that the risotto kicked the pasta's sweet little butt~
The real winner for the night was our desert, and if you're going to go for Italian you also have to go for Tiramisu. It was creamy but had all the falvour one could dream of! So much that I'm trying to figure out a way to give mum a piece for Christmas!
But HOW??
